Lindsay Lohan Will Play DEEP THROAT Star Linda Lovelace In New Film

Trainwreck actress Lindsay Lohan will play trainwreck personality Linda Lovelace in an upcoming film about the early adult film star. Linda Lovelace, born to a strict Catholic household as Linda Susan Boreman, was a walking set of contradictions and hypocrisies, coupled with health and drug problems. Lovelace alternated between doing adult entertainment and alternately, condemning the industry.

Lovelace actually only starred in just two hardcore adult films, an old 8mm loop film, in which she reportedly had sex with a dog, which she claims that she didn't do, although the film's mere existence certainly proves otherwise, and DEEP THROAT. Lovelace also appeared in several softcore adult and R rated films as well, and did pictorial layouts for ESQUIRE, PLAYBOY and the men's leg fetish magazine, LEG SHOW, years after supposedly becoming a critic of the adult entertainment industry.

At one point, Lovelace claimed that she was never paid for her role in DEEP THROAT, however a court threw out her lawsuit based on other evidence presented at trial.

After her career in adult entertainment fizzled and Lovelace, gained weight, lost her looks and was living on welfare, she wrote the book ORDEAL, claiming that was somehow forced at gunpoint to appear in adult entertainment. All her DEEP THROAT costars contradicted this absurd story. And Lovelace was pretty upset when radical socialist feminists like Andrea Dworkin and right wingers like former Attorney General Edwin Meese all used her to further their own political agendas but didn't pay her a penny. Lovelace thought that she could make money by lying about the adult entertainment industry. But, when that failed she did the spread for LEG SHOW.

Lovelace was arrested for cocaine and amphetamine possession before. And in 2002, suffered serious injuries after rolling her car twice and was taken off life support and died at the age of 53.

Several attempts at making a story about this absurd personality ended when producers backed out. It will be interesting to see if the Lindsay Lohan movie finally gets made. It will also interesting to see how Lovelace is portrayed considering her absurd life history of contradictions and outright lies about that life. Anything for a buck, seemed to be the Lovelace life philosophy. But, it was a life well wasted.
