After just 28 years together, shock rocker Gene Simmons finally married his longtime love and former PLAYBOY model, Shannon Tweed. Well, talk about rushing things. The two tied the knot on Saturday. The Simmons' wedding was a lavish luxury event attended by about 400 invited guests. Gene Simmons is 62 and his bride, Shannon Tweed is 54.

The lavish wedding event should make for great TV when it airs on Oct 18 on A&E's FAMILY JEWELS. On a previous episode, Gene Simmons made a surprise proposal to his girl, making for big news for the reality show which continues to remain interesting and fresh.
