Elvis Is Still Dead

Yesterday, marked 30 years since the death of Elvis Presley at the young age of 42. Yet it was a wholly preventable death as he overused prescription drugs as well as engaged in a highly destructive diet. At some point, family members have an obligation to prevent a family member from killing themselves with an unhealthy lifestyle. The alternative is what happened to Elvis; an untimely death at an early age. Think about it.

Paul

Just stopped by here after seeing you at Wizbang.

Thanks for bringing a little intelligence to that vast wasteland.

Saw you movies in your profile & thought I'd make a suggestion; Little Murders w/ and directed by Alan Arkin along w/ Elliot Gould and a host of great secondary players. It's a black comedy and just as relevant today as when it was released in '71. Very difficult to find, but worth it, even if you have to buy a VHS version. Michael

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment, Michael. I frankly don't understand some of the thinking over there at Wizbang. But I'm glad to contribute what I believe to be responsible opinions on subjects. Some of the people are simply too ideological and partisan over there for my tastes. And a few are into petty personal attacks as well, which is even worse.

I love movies. Your video suggestion sounds good to me. Elliot Gould is a great actor. I wish VHS looked better on my LCD TV. But DVD is very enjoyable on it.
