Ringo Starr Not Impressed With Vatican's "Forgiveness" Of The Beatles

Former Beatle Ringo Starr was less than impressed at the statement of "forgiveness" the Vatican seemed to be offering The Beatles through their official newspaper, "L'OSSERVATORE ROMANO. The church once called the world's most famous band "Satanic". Now, the Vatican accepts that the band was a great cultural phenomenon and good for society as a whole.

Ringo Starr, was long known for being the most easy going of The Beatles. But, he personally thought that the Vatican had more important things to do than comment on The Beatles. That might be a reference to all of the scandal plaguing the church.
For today, The Beatles may not be as popular as Jesus, but they're more popular than the church.
