Charlie Sheen Wants To Quit TWO AND A HALF MEN

Reportedly, actor Charlie Sheen wants out of his contract for America's most popular comedy, TWO AND A HALF MEN. And reportedly, producers from the show are already looking for a suitable replacement actor. But, some entertainment insiders are a little wary of Charlie Sheen's request, wondering if it isn't a ploy to get a better contract with higher wages. Right now, Sheen gets a staggering $825,000 per episode.

According to a PEOPLE Magazine source, Sheen has been recently telling friends that he wants out of the show.

With mounting personal problems for Sheen interfering with the hit comedy's filming schedule, which had to be trimmed by two episodes, Sheen's future on the show began to look bleak. And with the youngest actor on the show aging, enough elements are converging to say that the show could be in some jeopardy at some point. The producers of the show also have a huge hit with the BIG BANG THEORY, which at some point could fill in the top spot as the most popular comedy both on CBS and on American TV if TWO AND A HALF MEN runs into cancellation problems and the producers of the show decide to call it quits.
Regardless of the future of the show, look for a big May sweeps episode with ZZ Top as guest stars during a dream sequence. Somehow, this season will go out with a big episode. And next year the show might well be back again. But whether Sheen's involved is a huge question right now.
